Tony Rodriguez

A New York City transplant, Tony Rodriguez wrote for and performed in last year's CBS Diversity Comedy Showcase.  He most recently shot a guest role in a CBS pilot for Dakota Films - and behaved very badly in the webseries 'It Gets Betterish.' (One of OUT Magazine's Top 100.)  Look out for him on Adult Swim's upcoming 'Hot Package.'

Tony began studying improv at the UCB New York in 2007 after several years performing (ahem) short-form. His teachers included Anthony King, Shannon O'Neill, Charlie Todd, Anthony Atamanuik and Dyna Moe. Tony is a proud alum of the UCB NY Harold Team The Bishop and the improvised Movie group, Oscarbait.

A Miami, FL native, Tony moved to New York having already had his off-Broadway premiere in a play that Federico Garcia Lorca denied having written.

Among various UCB sketch shows, Tony's favorite roles have included : Freddie Mercury, Harvey Milk, Salma Hayek and Shari Lewis.

UCB L.A. credits include Glum! - a musical parody of Glee; The Rebecca Black Story; Newsadoozies; Quick & Funny Musicals; Let's Do This!; Sketch Cram; Bing Crosby Christmas Christacular and The Breaking Bad Rock Opera (returning soon!).

Fun Fact : Tony once cruised the Mediterranean in a two-man sketch show written with Stephen Guarino that opened for Patti Lupone.  In Africa.
