Jonny Svarzbein

Jonny Svarzbein is a writer/performer who was born in El Paso, TX. In college, he began working as a stand-up comedian and was a member of Comedy Corner at the University of Arizona in Tucson. He began studying at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in NYC and then moved to LA where he continued his studies under such awesome people as Matt Walsh, Ian Roberts, Sean Conroy, Billy Merritt, Neil Campbell, Chad Carter, Danielle Schneider and Joe Wengert, amongst others.
UCB credits include: Harold team: Mister Town City, Maude team: Bonafide (Writer), Rough Cut - The Improvised Movie, Tournament of Nerds (7x Champ), UCBT-LA 3 on 3 Tournament, Sketch Cram and Cagematch (official improv analyst).
He can also be seen around LA performing with the indie improv groups, Imaginary Friends, Hefty Baby and Thunderstruck, among several others, along with co-hosting and co-producing the indie improv venues Tuesday Night Thunder (www.tntimprov.com) and The 11th Hour Show.
Jonny's writing has been featured on Break.com, Gamefront.com and Egotvonline.com.
Jonny is also a member of the sketch group "The Guys from The Internet", whose sketches have been featured on VH1, San Francisco Sketchfest, Break.com, atom.com and Funny or Die.
