Andy Secunda

Andrew Secunda wrote at "Late Night with Conan" for two years, for which he was nominated for two Emmys and won two WGA awards.  Since then he's had several pilot deals at HBO, NBC, Comedy Central, and CBS, several which were shots as pilots (such as "The Mike Birbiglia Project"), and "Love, Inc." which ran a full season on UPN.  He has written for “Saturday Night Live's TV Funhouse” and was nominated for his third Emmy for “Night of Too Many Stars: A Benefit for Autism”.  He just completed writing and directing a “Childrens Hospital” webseries, starring the cast.  

He has studied improvisation with every member of the UCB, as well as Armando Diaz and Kevin Mullaney. He is a founding member of the of the longform improv group, The Swarm, and has performed in countless other shows including Asssscat, The Real Real World, FeatureFeature, and The Stepfathers.  As an actor he has appeared in the Upright Citizens Brigade television show, Flight of the Conchords, The Other Guys, and most recently on The Office.

He has also cured cancer but is keeping it to himself until he figures out just the right way to present it to the world.
