Paul Scheer

Paul Scheer is best known for his work on the MTV sketch comedy series Human Giant, which he co-created and starred in with Aziz Ansari, Rob Huebel and director Jason Woliner.  He currently co-stars on the hit FX comedy The League and the Adult Swim series NTSF:SD:SUV:: which he also created.

Scheer can be heard weekly on his highly popular Earwolf podcast How Did This Get Made? alongside UCB alums June Diane Raphael & Jason Mantzoukas.  The 30 minute podcast dissects the best of the worst in bad movies and is available for download on iTunes and at Earwolf.com.

He has made recurring appearances on television programs such as Best Week Ever, 30 Rock, Funny or Die Presents, Parks and Recreation, Party Down, The Sarah Silverman Program, Yo Gabba Gabba and Childrens Hospital.  He has also appeared in the films Rapturepoolaza, Piranha 3-D, Bride Wars, Year One, School for Scoundrels and the SXSW award winning Blackballed: The Bobby Dukes Story.

Paul has been with the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre since 1998.  In that time he has performed in numerous sketch and improv shows, most notably with the award winning Respecto Montalban, Talk Show with Jake Fogelnest and in the Adam McKay directed George Bush is a MotherF*cker!

Scheer is a regular performer at UCBTLA.  His improvised show Facebook has been running to sold out crowds since 2005.  It has been featured in LA Magazine as "The Best Improv Show in Los Angeles" and was the subject of a Good Morning America profile.  He also performs with Rob Huebel in the late night bi-monthly show "Crash Test."  The critically acclaimed show features a grab bag of LA's best stand-ups, sketch comedians, short films and more.
