Joe Wengert has been a regular performer at the UCB Theater since 2003.
Currently he can be seen improvising every Monday night with UCB-LA house team, The Smokes and every Saturday and Sunday with ASSSSCAT. Joe also teaches improv for the UCB.
Before moving to LA in 2009, Joe performed every Saturday night at UCB-NY with house team Reuben Williams. Joe has performed in or written for a number of improv and sketch shows including Krompf: The Ol' Factory, Your Favorite Thing, GameFace, and Dillinger.
Joe currently stars as "Gregg" on ABC's "How To Live With Your Parents (For the Rest of Your Life)." He has also appeared on "Key & Peele," "Are You There, Chelsea?" and in national commercials for H & R Block, McDonalds, and Mr. Clean.
Joe recently worked as a staff writer for "Kroll Show" on Comedy Central. In New York he spent a year and a half as a writer for the Onion News Network.
As a stand up, Joe was named one of the New Faces at the 2012 Montreal Just For Laughs festival. He has appeared at Comedy Bang Bang, Crash Test, Seth and Ed's Puppet Show, and What's Up Tiger Lily.
