Dhruv Uday Singh is an actor, writer and filmmaker who lives in Los Angeles. He was born and raised in Mumbai (then Bombay), India, and moved to L.A. to study creative writing and film at USC. Then, he stayed.
Dhruv writes for the Maude team Nephew. He also plays on the Harold team Thunder Theory on the iO West MainStage, various G3 teams at the Groundlings, and at several independent venues around town. He performed in and wrote for the sketch revue Friends with Medical Benefits at the Second City, played the Hollywood Improv with Squalid Gold, and performed a four-week run of his one-man show Sex, Love, Hollywood, culminating with a sold-out slot at the L.A. Scripted Comedy Festival.
Dhruv has studied at UCBTLA since 2012 with incredible teachers like Joe Wengert, Eugene Cordero, Neil Campbell, Tricia McAlpin, Billy Merritt, Mike Still, Lee Rubenstein, Allan McLeod, Will McLaughlin and Greg Tuculescu.
He loves writing on the Maude team Nephew, which plays the second Wednesday of every month at 8 PM.
