Dhruv Singh

Dhruv Uday Singh is an actor, writer, filmmaker, improviser, and other things you can just say you are, who lives in Los Angeles. He was born and raised in Mumbai (then Bombay), India, and moved to L.A. to study Creative Writing and Film at the University of Southern California. Then, he stayed.

Dhruv performs weekly on Harold Night and writes on the Maude team Nephew at the UCB Theater, where he is a grateful/gleeful recipient of the Diversity Scholarship. He does and has done a lot of other shows too, like a bunch of one-man sketch and narrative shows, Sketch Cram, UCB ComicCon and the Best of UCB Showcase, Starpunch. He also performs at iO West, the Groundlings and all the indie shows he can handle, and is currently in the CBS Diversity Showcase 2015.

He has studied at UCBTLA since 2012 under too many incredible teachers to name.

Dhruv is thrilled to be performing on Harold night (on Mondays at UCB Franklin). He is titillated to be writing on Maude Night with Nephew (the second Wednesday every month at UCB Sunset). And he is all juiced up about shameless plugs lodged inside parentheses (www.dhruvudaysingh.com).
