Pam Murphy is a writer, actor, and comedian from New York. Pam performs every Friday at 9:30 with Death by Roo Roo. She's also a member of the UCBTLA Maude team Bonafide. Pam currently performs her new solo show, Like Me at UCB. You should see it! Pam's previous solo show, The C Word, was named The Best Solo Show of 2010 by Time Out NY and nominated for an ECNY award.
Pam started performing at the UCB Theatre in NYC in 2005 and was a member of the UCB Harold teams Havana Clambake, Killebrew, Kill Your Darlings, DeCoster, and Standard Oil, and the UCB Maude Teams, Slow Burn and Arbuckle. Other past UCB NY credits include Killgore:The New Blood, B-Roll: Fact or Fiction, Sketch Cram, Glue Trap Theatre, Blackout, Mother Knows Best, The Hogwarts Improvisation Society, The It Sucked Awards, Marx the Spot, and as an Irish superhero in The Iron Sheikh. Pam also directed the UCB show, Thin Skin Jonny:Farewell Reunion Tour.
Pam has appeared on 30 Rock, Happy Endings, Comedy Bang! Bang! on IFC, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, The Jeselnik Offensive, the pilot Bad Parents, a slew of commercials and a ridiculous amount of internet videos. When not performing, Pamela spends her free time spoiling her skittish dogs. Those dogs really do love her.
