Lauren McGuire

Lauren is a 28-year-old comedy writer living  in Los Angeles. She is a member of the Upright Citizens Brigade theater where she writes on the house sketch team, New Money. She writes for other shows, including Allan McLeod's Talk Show, Not Too Shabby, and numerous variety bit shows. 

Aside from contributing to theater, Lauren also performs story telling shows like Public School, and True Tales of Love and Lust, and has acted in The Super Secret Brendon Small Show.  
Lauren also writes sketch for Wits Radio, a nationally distributed radio program on NPR. She has written for celebrity guests including Patton Oswalt, Maria Bamford, Michael Ian Black, Kristin Shaal, Colin Hanks, David Koechner, Julia Sweeney, Dave Foley, Aisha Tyler, Zac Galifianakis, Eugene Mirman, Jim Gaffigan, Rob Delaney, Scott Aukerman, Tim Heidecker, and Paul F Thompkins.

Lauren grew up in the weirdest part of Florida and her comedy style can be summed up as Boca Raton stepmom meets mallrat methhead. She is a very nice lady and enjoys animals and pizza immensely.
