Bree Sharp

Bree is an actor on MAUDE NIGHT. (testify!) Graduated from NYU (Atlantic Theater Company) with a degree in acting and was signed to Trauma Records for her debut album, A Cheap and Evil Girl. She garnered national attention with her cult hit song, "David Duchovny (Why Won't You Love Me?)" and toured the country performing. Her new band, Beautiful Small Machines, have been heard on Castle, The Real L Word, Children's Hospital, Starz and commercials for Victoria's Secret and MasterCard. They recorded a BladeRunner-inspired duet with Duran Duran's Simon Le Bon and their recent banjo-infused version of MIA's "Paper Planes" was the number one top pick in the Guardian (UK) in April and in Soterios Johnson's Summer picks - What's up, NPR?!  Bree has returned to her acting roots, originating the role of Leia in a New York Stage and Film workshop of the new Pete Tonwnsend rock opera, "The Boy Who Heard Music" and made her film debut this year with a starring role in "Bert and Arnie's Guide to Friendship", Winner of Best International Feature at the London Independent Film Festival. She is thrilled to be a part of UCB and Maude Night. If you're interested in capturing her attention, you need only a glass of Jaymo and a nerd-level knowledge of sci-fi and [adult swim]. GO VEGAN!!
