Hesley Harps
Current Shows
Hesley Harps is an actor and writer from Alpharetta, Georgia who moved to LA after graduating from Sewanee: The University of the South. That's right, The South! She doubled majored in Theatre Arts and Ecology/Biodiversity, with concentrations in acting and birds and insects, respectively.
She's been training at UCB LA since 2010 and is thrilled to join the Maude Team, Tut, as a performer! Other shows at UCB include Let's Do This!, Cagematch and HelloGiggles Presents.
Hesley also performs with her indie improv team, Frenemies, and her Musical Improv Team, Hug Bear, at Second City, Room 101, Crashbar, iOWest, and ComedySportz. She has appeared on "New Girl," "Funny or Die Presents," and Comedy Central's "Atom TV." Hesley is a member of the Story Pirates, who perform an interactive sketch show at The Geffen Playhouse inspired by stories that were written by kids.
She enjoys writing and producing her own projects, many of which have been featured on Funny or Die and CollegeHumor. She's also a columnist for HelloGiggles.com, an entertainment site for women founded by Zooey Deschanel, Sophia Rossi, and Molly McAleer. Her biggest life goal is to own a sharpei named Mr. Bundles.
