Nate Shelkey

Nate is an actor and writer from the great state of Virginia. Nate started improvising at UCB in New York in 2001 and now calls the City of Angels and UCBLA home. In addition to playing on Harold teams The Racquet, gigawatt, Arsenal, and Kill Your Darlings plus Maude Teams 27 Kidneys and Gorilla Gorilla, he also came up with the name of the indie team Wiener Dog.  Which some people didn't like, but he still thinks was solid.

He has appeared on television in Happy Endings, New Girl, Anger Management, 30 Rock, Chuck, Up All Night, Jimmy Kimmel, Mayne Street, ESPN, PBS, MTV, and Comedy Central. He is also Ken Schenk on In The Know for the Onion News Network and the voice of the cow "Captain Beefheart" for the series of cartoon shorts, Farminals.

He once asked Brett Favre whether he uses the "sneak attack" in thumb wrestling.  (He does.)

You might have spied him in a number of national commercials, where he has proven to be an expert at playing Man-Babies and a giant mouse.  Finally, he is a singer/songwriter who writes hooky pop.
