Poehler, Rudd, Carey to be part of SF Sketchfest

Amy Poehler, Paul Rudd, Will Forte and Drew Carey are among some of the best comedians in the country who will be performing and attending the 11th annual SF Sketchfest, Jan. 19 through Feb. 4

Poehler, the former "Saturday Night Live" comedian who now stars in the popular series "Parks and Recreation," will be honored with the rest of the founders of the Upright Citizens Brigade. The group, which also includes Matt Besser, Ian Roberts and Matt Walsh, will sit down for an in-depth conversation about their role as performers and creators of a Comedy Central series and comedy theater in both New York and Los Angeles.

Poehler also will be part of "Wet Hot American Summer: The Live Radio Play," along with director David Wain, his co-screenwriter and leading man Michael Showalter, Christopher Meloni of "Law & Order: SVU" fame, Marguerite Moreau, Michael Ian Black, Ken Marino and Joe Lo Truglio, as well as surprise guests.

Closing night of the festival includes a screening of "MASH" and a night honoring Robert Altman. Those expected to attend are the film's stars Elliott Gould and Sally Kellerman.

Among some of the other bigger names scheduled to appear at the festival are Jennifer Coolidge, Rachel Dratch, Chris Elliott, John Hodgman, Marc Maron, Bruce McCulloch, Laraine Newman, John Slattery, Kevin Smith, Reggie Watts and Fred Willard.
